Fulfilment By Amazon (FBA) can now be used with StoreFeeder to fulfill both orders from your Amazon channel and orders from your eBay and Magento integrations.
What Is Fulfilment By Amazon?
In a nutshell, FBA is a service offered by Amazon allowing you to send them your stock, have them store it at their warehouse and when an order is placed for one of your products they pick, pack and dispatch the order for you.
For more information visit the Amazon Services FBA Website.
Using FBA with Amazon In StoreFeeder
Using FBA to fulfill your Amazon orders in StoreFeeder is a simple process. Firstly, you will need to send any stock that you want to be used for FBA to Amazon's warehouse by creating an 'Inbound Shipment' purchase order in your Amazon Seller Central account. Once Amazon have received the stock and booked it in, the quantity available to be used for FBA will appear in the 'Fulfilable' column next to your products in Amazon Seller Central.
To turn FBA on for your Amazon channel in StoreFeeder, simply go to 'Settings > Edit/View Integration' then turn on the switch for 'Fulfilment by Amazon' then click the 'Save' button as shown in the image below.
Now, where the stock is available, FBA orders from Amazon will be fulfilled using the your stock stored by Amazon.
Using FBA to fulfil orders from Other Sales Channels
It is possible to use FBA to fulfil orders from channels other that Amazon using StoreFeeder. First ensure that the 'Fulfilment by Amazon' button is on in your Amazon integration. Next you will need to create a warehouse in StoreFeeder called 'Amazon Fulfilment'.
To do this go to 'Settings > Warehouse Management > Your Warehouses' and click the 'New Warehouse' button.
Name the warehouse and select 'Amazon Fulfilment' from the 'Warehouse Type' drop down box. A new section of settings for Amazon Fulfilment will appear.
Select the 'Fulfilment Center' you want to use from your Amazon integrations and select if you would like to use 'Warehouse Auto Flip', switch products to use Amazon stock when it arrives at their warehouse and select a 'Fulfilment Policy'. You can also add a 'Displayable Order Comment' and send 'Ship Complete Notifications'. Finally, select the shipping methods you want to use for 'Standard', 'Expedited' and 'Priority' shipping and click the 'Save' button.
Once you have created the FBA Warehouse, a FBA supplier will be automatically created in StoreFeeder.
Finally, you will need to add 'Amazon FBA' as a supplier to any products you are setting up as FBA, as shown below. After about 15 minutes, the stock that you have held at the Amazon warehouse will be displayed here.
StoreFeeder is now set to fulfil orders using FBA.
