How to Integrate StoreFeeder with ekmPowerShop

ekmPowerShop is a hosted webstore that can be integrated with StoreFeeder. Please note that ekmPowerShop charge £10 a month to allow the users of its site to access its site from external software like StoreFeeder.

To begin, set up a new WebStore integration in the usual way by going to 'Settings > New Integrations' and choose 'WebStore', followed by 'ekmPowerShop' from the dialog box. Once these steps are done, you will be presented with the settings page for that channel. There are important settings that need to be filled out before you can integrate.

First is the API Key. This is a special access code generated by ekmPowerShop that will permit StoreFeeder to access your account. To acquire this key, log in to your ekm account and access the 'Features' section. The link is found at the top right hand corner of the ekm Home Page. From the 'Browse Features' section, look for the ekmPowerShop API logo:

Here, you will need to sign up for the API feature and accept the £10 per month charge. Once this feature is successfully installed, the API will appear in your Installed Features part on the right hand of the page.

Click on this link, and you will see the page that gives the information StoreFeeder requires to access your account. The first piece of information is call the 'Endpoint' in ekmPowershop. The second piece of information is the API Key, a cryptographic access key that authorises the StoreFeeder software to access your shop.

Copy the "Endpoint' URL into the "API URL" field on the integration page, shown here blank on the right hand side at the bottom of the page. Copy the 'API Key' field from ekmPowershop into the 'API Key' field in StoreFeeder, and voila! StoreFeeder will now have all the information it needs to access your account. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page, and you are ready to go.
