Setting up your Product Information

In order to get your products ready for use with the Royal Mail Direct Integration you will need to have at least two key pieces of information, 'Packaging Size' and 'Weight'. These can be found on a product's 'Additional Information' and 'General' tabs respectively. Ensuring that the information entered for these fields is correct will make sure that you send products out with the correct services and that you get the correct validation when despatching an order.

There are two methodologies update product information in the system. The first is manually going through each product and update the values one by one.  Remember to hit 'Save'.

If you have a large product catalogue, updating products individually would be next to impossible. If this is the case, you can also amend these values using the 'Product Import/Export' feature which will allow you to complete the update in bulk by updating the values in a spreadsheet and importing this into the system.
