Royal Mail DMO Codes for shipment import template

 

The following document shows you the codes to use within StoreFeeder when creating a new Royal Mail Shipping Method and within the DMO order shipment template to ensure that the correct service is assigned when the DMO manifest is imported from StoreFeeder into DMO.

When you are creating a new Royal Mail DMO shipping method you need to enter the following  information in the ‘Shipping Method Settings’ section of the 'Edit Shipping Methods' page as below:

 

The following codes should be used in the appropriate sections;

Service 

  • 1st Class Letters = 1
  • 1st Class/24 Packets & Large Letters = 1P
  • 2nd Class Letters = 2
  • 2nd Class/48 Packets & Large Letters = 2P
  • HM Forces = BFPO
  • Airsure + Compensation = ASC
  • Airsure = AS
  • International Signed for + Compensation = INTC
  • International signed for = INT
  • Standard Airmail = AM
  • Special Delivery = SP
  • Track & Trace 24 = TT24
  • Track & Trace 48 = TT48

Service Enhancement (if no enhancement is required, leave blank)

  • Special Delivery Consequential Loss - £1,000 = 1
  • Special Delivery Consequential Loss - £2,500 = 2
  • Special Delivery Consequential Loss - £5,000 = 3
  • Special Delivery Consequential Loss - £7,500 = 4
  • Special Delivery Consequential Loss - £10,000 = 5
  • Recorded = REC
  • Tracked – Email = EMA
  • Tracked – SMS = SMS
  • Tracked – Email & SMS = SNE

Service Format

  • Special Delivery & Tracked (SP or TT) = N
  • Large Letters (1P or 2P) = F
  • Standard Letters (1 or 2) = L
  • Standard Packets (1P or 2P) = P
  • International Large Letter = G
  • International Standard Letter = IP
  • International Packet = E

Item

  • This should be left blank

 So for example, a Royal Mail 24 Recorded Service with a Packet format would be set up as follows;

 

  

Then click on the ‘Save’ button and your shipping method will be saved and then repeat the process for all of your Royal Mail DMO shipping methods.
