This knowledgebase will guide you through how to use the new orders grid in StoreFeeder. We have kept a consistent user experience across all pages, so this guide will be applicable to other areas of the platform too.
The Basic Grid
This is comprised of a few main sections. The view tabs, paging controls, filtering, column and refresh buttons and the main grid itself. We go into more detail of what each does.
The grid itself has a few features we hope makes it easy to use.
Sticky columns — Order number and status columns remain visible when scrolling horizontally. Badges and flags are included in the order number column for the same reason.
Colour-coded columns — Status and date columns are colour-coded for quick identification.
Mini timeline — Shows 3 key dates per order: the order date, the date it was added to a pickwave, and the despatch date.
Country flags — Displayed against the shipping address to help identify international orders at a glance.
Channel icons — Shown for both sales and shipping channels.
Combined fields — Certain fields have been merged to reduce the number of columns. Hover over items to see the full detail.
Row indicators — Full row colouring for pending stock and unrecognised orders has been replaced with a small coloured swatch on the left-hand side, making it easier to track a row across the grid without being visually overbearing."
The View Tabs
Here you will find both the premade views we have provided and also any custom views you have made or shared with your team.
You can set any view to be your preferred view by selecting manage views and clicking the star icon next to the view you want. Now every time you go to the orders page it will take you to that view automatically.
You can also save views by first filtering the grid with the criteria you would like and then choosing save view.
You can either choose it to be a personal view or share it with the team. It will then appear in the list of views as below
Filtering
Filtering and sorting is performed by using the filter and sort icons you will already be familiar with.
If you choose a filter combination and there are no results you will be presented with the following screen to show you what has been filtered for and allow you to remove criteria by clicking the x
TIP - If you can't find an order it may be because you are in a certain view that automatically applies filters. Try searching in the "All" view
You can also check and clear filters but using the filters grid button
Enabling and disabling columns
This can be done by using the column chooser button
Paging controls
The paging controls allow you to set how many rows are displayed per page and navigate between pages of results. Use the page size dropdown to adjust the number of rows shown, and the navigation arrows to move between pages.
Row actions and bulk actions
Here you will be able to perform actions on either an order by order basis or to multiple orders in bulk. This KB will focus on how to perform the action rather than going through each as they should be self explanatory.
Row actions are performed by clicking the "3 dot menu" on the order row. The available actions will differ depending on what status the order is in and what has already been done to it
Bulk actions are very similar but instead of the "3 dot menu" on the row tick each row you wish to apply an action to. A bulk actions toolbar will appear above the grid, where you can select the action to apply to all ticked orders.
