How to Integrate with BigCommerce
This page will help you integrate BigCommerce webstores with StoreFeeder
Our BigCommerce integration enables you to:
- Create product listings
- Download your BigCommerce orders
- Pick, pack and despatch orders
- Send tracking information to BigCommerce
- Update and synchronise inventory
- Sync stock levels to all linked channels
Integrating StoreFeeder with your BigCommerce marketplace is a simple process. Just follow the instructions below and you should be up and running in no time.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1.
First, sign into StoreFeeder using your login details. You will then be brought to the 'Dashboard' and will see a yellow bar at the top of the page indicating that you have sales channels that have not been tested. To begin the integration, click on the link in the yellow bar.
Step 2.
You will now see the 'Integration Manager' page and a list of all of your channels.
To integrate your BigCommerce channel, look for 'Existing Webstore Integrations' and then click on 'Edit/View Integration'.
If BigCommerce does not already appear on this list then you will need to set up a new integration for it; you can do this by scrolling to the top right of the Integration Manager page and clicking the green button marked "+ New Integration".
Step 3.
If you are creating a new integration you will then be greeted by the following screens where you will need to pick the circled options.
If you are editing an already existing integration, you can skip this step.
You will then be asked to input a name for the integration and if you wish to extend permissions to all users on your account. Once you have finished, click the '+Add Integration' to proceed.
You will now see the 'Integration Details' page for this channel. In the 'Integration Profile Section' you can edit your Profile Name, select a Company Identity, and set the channel’s Active status.
StoreFeeder has pre-set the majority of these settings on this page. This is because the integration will default to the '' mode within StoreFeeder when it is created, allowing for the connection to be easily checked. Leave these settings as they are until you are ready to go live.
Step 4.
You will now need to get the API information from your Big Commerce site. So for now, leave StoreFeeder as it is and login to your BigCommerce webstore.
Once on the BigCommerce 'Home' page, look to the navigation bar on the left-hand side and click 'Advanced Settings' > 'API Accounts'.
Once on the 'API Accounts' page, you'll need to click the 'Create API Account' button as shown below:
Step 5.
On the 'Create API Account' page you will be asked to name the account and will be presented with the API Path.
It is very important that you keep a record of the API Path as you will not get a chance to see it again and it is imperative for setting up the integration with StoreFeeder.
Just below that, you'll see a list titled "Auth Scopes" which is a list of the API resources you can give us access to.
You'll need to copy the image below in order to allow the integration to work.
Once your list matches this one you can click the 'Save' button in the bottom right corner.
You'll now be given your BigCommerce API Credentials.
It is very important that you keep a record of the information on this page, you will only get to see this page once!
Step 6.
Once you have the API information, head back over to StoreFeeder and enter the 'Client ID' & 'Access Token' from BigCommerce into the 'API Client ID' and 'API Auth Token' fields respectively. The Client Secret you receive from BigCommerce is not required.
You will also need to enter the API Path received earlier into the 'API URL' field and enter your store hash into it's respective field.
The store hash can be found in the API Path you received earlier as follows:
- store-storehash.mybigcommerce.com/api/v2
- api.bigcommerce.com/stores/storehash/v3
In both cases, the store hash here is "storehash".
Enter the 'Store URL' of your site, then set the 'Trigger Order Status' which will determine the order status we check orders for to download and then the 'Store Weight Measurement' your site is in.
Once all of this is done, your integrations page should look something akin to this:
To complete the integration, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.
Congratulations! Your BigCommerce account and your StoreFeeder account are now integrated.
