StoreFeeder has flexible Despatch Mode Settings that can be changed to meet the requirements of your pick, pack and despatch operation.
The 'Despatch Mode' page is part of the 'Warehouse Management' settings section. ('Settings > Warehouse Management > Despatch Mode')
The settings are explained below.
Despatch orders:
This will allow you to despatch orders individually or in bulk using pickwaves.
Sort Paperwork:
This option allows you to change the order that all paperwork relating to despatch is ordered by. Paperwork can be ordered by Shipping Method, Pickbin, Supplier, Order Number, Warehouse Zone, Unique Order Number, Product Name, Ordered Product SKU or Product SKU.
Barcode Validation Type:
When scanning pickwaves using the app, you can have a number of validation steps required by the scanner before they can move to the next step. These options are None, Product, Product Quantity, Location and Single Product and Locations and Product Quantity.
Print Invoices (Integrated Labels):
Invoices are automatically previewed when a pickwave is created.
When Printing Invoices or Picking Lists close the pop up window automatically:
The preview window that shows your paperwork when a pickwave is created is automatically closed after 5 seconds.
Preview Picking List when Creating Pickwave:
A preview window showing your picking list is produced when a pickwave is created.
Enable Despatch of Unrecognised Product Orders:
Orders that do not have a product associated to the ordered SKU can be despatched with this setting ON. Please note that Unrecognised Orders are not inventory tracked so stock cannot be deducted from products as they are sold.
Show Special Instructions When Printing Invoice:
If you have special instructions on an order, they will be shown at the point of printing invoices.
Skip Courier Validation:
Orders which use a validated courier service will not be validated at despatch. Having this setting off for general order despatch is not recommended.
Validate Order Shipping And Handling On Barcode Despatch:
This is a setting that will trigger the shipping and handling of an order (weight, packing size and shipping method) of an order when it is despatched using a barcode scanner.
Allocate Stock Locations On Non-Pickwave Despatch:
When despatching orders outside of a pick-wave, SKUs despatched this way will automatically be assigned a stock location.
Consolidated Picking:
This will allow pickwaves to be further broken down into totes for more efficient packing and sorting.
Trolley Required For Picking:
When picking on the app, this would force a picker to select a trolley when starting a pick wave (v3.0.0 onwards)
Tote Size:
This is the number of totes you have per trolly.
Order Routing Algorithm:
If you have multiple warehouses StoreFeeder will prioritise which warehouse handles an order based on the setting here.
Once you have made changes to these settings, click the 'Save' button to confirm the changes.
