When you link your Magento 2 site in StoreFeeder we will import a list of your websites, stores and store views to enable you to set up StoreFeeder to work with your multistore site.
The lists mentioned above fill into some drop down listings below where you link your Magento account. If you do not have a multistore site and do not need to use multistores you do not need to do anything as if the drop down lists against your magneto account are not filled in we will just update your default store view against your default site.
If you do use multisites you will need to set up a magento 2 integration per store view.
So for example you could have a magento 2 website that has 2 websites, then one of the websites has 2 stores and then 1 of the stores has 2 store views. This would result in you needing 4 magento integrations.
To explain this a bit better please see the below set up for a magento 2 multistore:
Magento integration 1
Magento Integration 2
Magento Integration 3
Magento Integration 4
All of these integrations are used for the same website but link to different parts of the website.
Each integration will download it's own listings.
*One thing to note is that when you update the price on one store view all the store views on that store will sync to the same price on channel but not in storefeeder.
As an example, the magento integration 1 and magento integration 2 above would import the same listings and if you did a price update against the listing that imported for magento integration 1 it would actually update on your website the store view that was linked to magento integration 2 as well. But we wouldn't replicate that in storefeeder so if you have a store with multiple store views you need to make sure if you do any price changes that you do it across the listings for all the integrations linked to that store otherwise you may have prices you don't expect on channel.
