With the new EU changes there are new fees to be paid at customs and EU countries all have different rules regarding how these need to be collected as some countries will not allow the cost to be passed onto the customer which means the fee needs to be paid upfront.
There's a new option on your royal mail shipping called "Allow Additional Handling Fees to be Paid", if you enable that on your existing shipping methods you should be able to use any service for despatching for most european countries. E.g. if you were using MP7, if you enable this toggle then you should be able to use MP7 to dispatch your european orders again.

By Enabling this toggle you are agreeing to pay the new customs charges on behalf of your customers and you will see this reflected in your royal mail bill. There may also be additional handling charges from royal mail.
