This guide explains how to export all of your customers, or a selected group of them, from the standard Customers page as a CSV file you can open in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Before you start
These steps use the standard version of the Customers page. If you're using the beta Customers page, you won't see an Export button. See How to Export Customers to switch views.
Step 1: Open the Customers page
Go to Customers > Manage Customers.
The Export button is in the toolbar above the customer grid, next to Delete and Clone.
Step 2: Export all customers
- Click Export.
- In the Customers To Export dropdown, choose All Customers.
- Click Export in the dialog.
The CSV file downloads through your browser, usually to your default downloads folder. It's named with the date and time of the export, for example Customers 2026-11-03 15.07.32.csv. The dialog stays open after the download starts, so click Cancel to close it.
Exporting selected customers
To export only some of your customers:
- Narrow down the list using the filter boxes under the column headings, for example Name, Postcode or Email Address.
- Tick the checkbox next to each customer you want to export. To tick every customer on the current page, use the checkbox at the top of the grid.
- Click Export.
- Leave Customers To Export set to Selected (Checked) Customers.
- Click Export in the dialog.
The grid shows 20 customers per page by default. To tick more customers at once, increase Page Size at the bottom of the grid, up to 500.
What's in the export file
The file has one row per customer and the following columns:
| Column | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Customer Reference | The customer's reference in StoreFeeder |
| Name | The customer's name |
| Company | The company name, if there is one |
| Address Line 1, City, Postcode | The customer's address |
| Email Address, Phone | The customer's contact details |
| Notes | Any notes saved against the customer |
| Is Business | Whether the customer is marked as a business |
| UKIMS Number, EORI Number | The customer's customs registration numbers, if they've been added |
Only the first line of the address is included. Order history and channel details aren't part of the export.
Troubleshooting
I can't see an Export button
You're on the beta Customers page. See How to Export Customers for how to switch to the standard page.
"One or more required fields are missing/invalid."
You chose Selected (Checked) Customers but haven't ticked any customers. Close the dialog, tick the customers you want, then try again. To export everyone, choose All Customers instead.
The file doesn't download
Check your browser's download manager, and make sure your browser isn't blocking downloads or pop-ups from StoreFeeder.
