New Amazon listings are not always available for immediate download into StoreFeeder. In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours before newly created listings are ready to be imported.
Why does this happen?
When a listing is first created on Amazon, the platform needs time to generate and populate the background data required for that listing. This process happens on Amazon’s side and is outside of StoreFeeder’s control.
If a listing is downloaded too soon, this can result in:
- Missing product information (e.g. attributes, identifiers, or variation data)
- Incomplete listings within StoreFeeder
- Errors when attempting to upload changes back to Amazon
What should I do?
To ensure a successful and complete import:
- Wait up to 24 hours after creating a new listing on Amazon before attempting to download it into StoreFeeder
- Then run the Amazon listings download again via Integration Manager
This helps ensure all required data is fully available and reduces the risk of errors when working with the listing in StoreFeeder.
