When producing labels via Amazon buy shipping we have to send up details of the Amazon order. They use this information to decide which services and couriers are eligible for use.
If you choose a specific service on your shipping method as below you may get the above message if its not allowed as we dont take any other services into account if this is set.
There are various factors but the main deciding factor is if Amazon think that service can meet the delivery promise (PDD). Despatching an order using a 48 hour service too late in the day may prevent you from using it. Also Amazon use the metrics from the VTR data to project if a service can get there in time, this may vary from region to region. So you may be able to use a 48 hour service to a well serviced area, but you may not be able to in more rural areas or areas with a history of late delivery. It could also be that a tracked\signed service is required but the service you are requesting doesn't provide that enhancement.
Below is an example of the data we get back from Amazon for a rejected service
As you can see, in the above case Amazon do not think the 48 hour service will arrive in time. Unfortunately, all of this is out of StoreFeeders control and in this situation you will have 3 options available to you:
- Choose a shipping method with a faster speed (24 hour) and try redespatch
- Set up a new Shipping method and leave the service code blank. In this case StoreFeeder will pick the cheapest option available to you, but this may be with a different courier (Logistics or DPD) if you have them active in your shipping partners in Amazon.
- Ship the order using a direct integration. This should be your last option as it may affect your VTR.
If the above suggestions don't work then please contact the support team for assistance. But this should cover 99% of any issues you face shipping via Amazon
