Creating Product Variant Attributes

Before you start to create and list variant products in StoreFeeder, you will first need to set the attributes for your products. To do this, first click on 'Product Attribute Manager' as shown in the image below.

You will now be on the 'Product Attribute' page. To add a product attribute, click on the green 'New Product Attribute' button.

In the new window you will need to add the 'Attribute Name' into the relevant field and set the 'Display Order' of your attribute. The display order is the order in which the attributes are shown when creating a product. Once you have entered the correct information, click the 'Save' button.

The attribute will now appear in the 'Existing Product Attribute' box. You will now need to add the variations to the attribute, e.g, for size you would add Small, Medium, Large etc. To do this click 'Edit'.

Now you need to add the 'Product Attribute Values' to your attribute. To do this, click on the 'Add' button.

Enter the 'Display Order', the 'Product Attribute Value' and the 'Product Attribute Short Value'.

The product attribute short value needs to be the same as the product attribute value.

When you have entered all of the product attribute values that you require, click the 'Save' button.

 

You will now see the product attributes with attribute values on the 'Product Attribute' page. Click the 'Save' button to complete the process.
