Mapping Categories

Once you have integrated your Shopify site with StoreFeeder you will need to import your categories from channel and map them to the corresponding categories in StoreFeeder.

First click on 'Settings', then the 'Edit/View Integration' button on the Integration Manager page. Then 'Map Categories' on the left hand side, then 'Import Categories' button in the top right of the page.

This will download all existing store categories from Shopify into StoreFeeder.

You will now need to match up the 'Shopify Category' to the 'StoreFeeder Category' by selecting the corresponding values from the drop-down menus and clicking the 'Add Mapping' button.

As you map categories up, they will appear in the 'Current Mappings' section of the page. To delete a mapping, click the 'Remove Mapping' button on the same line as the mapping you wish to remove.

If you have added more categories to StoreFeeder, but they are not appearing in the 'StoreFeeder Category' mapping drop down, click the 'Refresh Mappings' button to refresh the list.
