This feature is currently in early access but should be available to all users soon.
StoreFeeder’s AI-assisted listing tools can help you create richer product listings with less manual data entry. They use your existing product information to suggest suitable listing content and marketplace attributes.
AI-generated information should always be reviewed for accuracy before you save or upload a listing.
Find in eBay’s AI Catalog
Overview
Find in eBay’s AI Catalog uses eBay’s AI service to suggest listing information based on your product data.
It can help populate:
- Listing title
- Description
- Primary eBay category
- Item specifics, such as colour, material or size
The feature is available for eBay UK and eBay US listings. Your StoreFeeder account must also have a connected eBay US marketplace channel.
How to use it
1. Open an eBay listing in StoreFeeder.
2. Select Find in eBay’s AI Catalog at the top of the page.
3. Check the search information shown:
- Title
- SKU
- Category — optional
4. Edit these details if required.
5. Select Find.
6. Wait while eBay processes the product information.
7. Review the fields added to the listing.
8. Make any necessary corrections.
9. Save or upload the listing when you are satisfied with the results.
When creating a new eBay listing, the AI Catalog window may open automatically.
Information used to find a match
StoreFeeder may use the following product information to help eBay identify and describe the product:
- Product title and SKU
- Product category
- EAN, UPC or ISBN
- Product images
- Existing custom attributes
Providing accurate product identifiers, images and attributes can improve the quality of the suggestions.
Reviewing the results
Fields populated by eBay are briefly highlighted. A confirmation message lists the areas that were updated.
The feature does not automatically save or upload the listing. You remain in control of the final information sent to eBay.
Pay particular attention to:
- Product title
- Product category
- Description
- Required item specifics
- Product variations and compatibility information
If eBay cannot identify the product, StoreFeeder will display a message explaining that the product could not be matched or mapped.
UK listing support
eBay’s AI results are generated through the US marketplace. For UK listings, StoreFeeder adjusts title spelling and matches common US and UK variations in item-specific names and values—for example, Color and Colour.
Descriptions are not automatically translated, so their formatting and HTML remain intact.
AI fill listing data for Amazon
Overview
AI fill listing data suggests values for the Amazon Properties form using your existing StoreFeeder product information and the requirements of the selected Amazon product type.
It can help complete:
- Required Amazon attributes
- Product descriptions
- Brand and manufacturer information
- Materials, dimensions and product characteristics
- Valid values from Amazon dropdown lists
- Other product-type-specific properties
Unlike the eBay feature, this does not search an Amazon catalogue. It generates suggestions for the Amazon product type and form currently selected.
Before you begin
Make sure that:
- The correct Amazon product type has been selected.
- The product record contains as much accurate information as possible.
- Any existing product titles, descriptions, identifiers and attributes are up to date.
The AI tool cannot run until an Amazon product type has been selected and the Properties form is available.
How to use it
1. Open an Amazon listing in StoreFeeder.
2. Select the appropriate Product Type if one has not already been chosen.
3. Select AI fill listing data at the top of the page.
4. Read the AI information warning.
5. Select OK to continue.
6. Wait while StoreFeeder generates the suggestions.
7. Open or review the Properties section.
8. Check every suggested value, paying particular attention to required fields.
9. Correct or remove any unsuitable information.
10. Save or upload the listing when it is ready.
Information used to generate suggestions
StoreFeeder may use:
- Product name, SKU, summary and description
- EAN, UPC and ISBN
- Brand and manufacturer part number
- Product type and categories
- Price and recommended retail price
- Weight and dimensions
- Product composition
- Custom and variation attributes
- Titles and descriptions from the product’s other channel listings
The AI also receives information about the Amazon fields currently displayed, including required status, valid dropdown options and length or numeric restrictions.
How existing information is handled
The feature is designed to preserve your existing work:
- Existing optional values are normally left unchanged.
- StoreFeeder-managed and structural fields are protected.
- Invalid or unrecognised dropdown options are skipped.
- Suggestions for fields that are not present on the form are ignored.
Required fields may be updated with an AI suggestion, even if they already contain a value. Review required fields especially carefully.
Fields filled by AI are temporarily highlighted. Required fields receive a stronger highlight to draw attention to values that need checking.
Protected information
For safety, the AI does not populate sensitive regulatory fields relating to:
- URLs and document links
- Compliance information
- GPSR information
- Safety attestations
These fields must be completed manually using verified information.
The AI also avoids StoreFeeder-managed listing structures such as parent-and-child relationships and variation themes.
Validation and saving
After suggestions are applied, StoreFeeder reports how many fields were filled or skipped.
AI suggestions are still subject to the normal Amazon listing validation. Missing or invalid information must be corrected before the listing can be submitted.
The feature never automatically saves or uploads the listing.
