This guide explains how to stop StoreFeeder importing orders from a specific Shopify location – for example a wholesale counter, trade desk, or point-of-sale till you don't want creating orders in StoreFeeder.
Where to find the setting
Go to Integration Manager > Shopify, open your Shopify integration, then select Shopify Locations from the menu on the left.
You'll see a row for every location set up on your Shopify store, showing whether it's Active On Shopify, which StoreFeeder Warehouse it's linked to (if you have our multiple warehouse feature enabled), and three switches you control: Update Inventory, Import POS Orders and Import Orders.
Turn off order import for a location
To stop StoreFeeder creating orders for a location, switch off the following against that row:
- Import Orders: stops regular (non point-of-sale) Shopify orders for this location being imported.
- Import POS Orders: stops point-of-sale orders taken at this location being imported. This is a separate switch – if the location is a till or trade counter, turn this off as well as Import Orders to exclude it completely.
Click Save once you've set the switches you need.
Switching off Import Orders or Import POS Orders only affects orders placed after you save the change. It doesn't remove orders already in StoreFeeder, and it doesn't cancel or affect anything on Shopify itself.
Update Inventory is a separate setting that controls whether StoreFeeder sends stock levels to that location – it has no effect on order import. Leave it as it is unless you also want to stop stock being pushed there.
Troubleshooting
I switched off Import Orders but an order from that location still came in
Check whether the order also contains items from a location where Import Orders is still switched on – StoreFeeder only skips an order if every location on it is excluded. If it was a till sale, check Import POS Orders is also switched off for that location.
Orders from a location I do want have stopped coming in
Open Shopify Locations and confirm Import Orders (and Import POS Orders, if relevant) is switched on for that location, then click Save.
A location I excluded has stopped receiving stock updates
That's controlled separately by Update Inventory on the same screen – switch it back on if you still want stock levels sent to that location.
