To use Hermes/Evri email or sms notifications you will need to enter your "Customer Alert Group", Hermes/Evri default value for this is 0001 so it's likely 0001 will be the correct value for you but we would recommend you contact your Hermes/Evri account manager to check the correct value because this field changes how the tracking notifications works and affects the branding on the email and SMS messages. This will always be a 4-character number.
Once you've got your customer alert group entered you can select the notification type you wish to use. There are 3 options:
- SMS
- Email & SMS
Depending on the country you are shipping to and the service that's being used however the notifications may or may not be supported. And if you are using Email & SMS as an option, some countries will only support 1 type of notification and in those scenarios we will use email notifications.
