Failed to upload/update listing on channel ‘improper words’ – StoreFeeder

On listing to eBay the following error message may appear:

"Failed to upload/update listing on channel eBay UK
Errors:
The item cannot be listed or modified. The title or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy."

This error is returned to us by eBay when there is some wording on the listing that potentially could be in breach of an eBay policy. Unfortunately, StoreFeeder isn’t advised of the specific phrasing that eBay has returned the error on.

We would recommend checking the listing for any obvious phrasing that stands out that could be considered inappropriate and re-wording if necessary. If no wording stands out that could be considered inappropriate then we’d advise deleting most of the title and description on the listing and attempting to list again to channel. If successful you can then try adding back in the title/description until you identify the words that eBay has identified which could be in breach of a policy.
