StoreFeeder allows for General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) information to entered onto the products in StoreFeeder so that it can be used when listings to supported channels.
There is also a requirement for a manufacture to be set for your products, this will need for the supplier(s) on the product to have an "Is manufacture" toggle set to true on the edit supplier page
Products > Suppliers > Edit/View Supplier.
Also on this page is a field for the contact email, this will be used for GPSR uploads but if it's blank we will use the supplier email address.
If you are using a kit of if the product is linked to more than one supplier with manufacture toggled, we will use the supplier with the higher priority.
There is also an option to set manufacture directly on the Regulatory Information if the ordering doesn't work for your product, That will be shown later in the guide.
The following section of the guide details how to add the GPSR data to products other KB's will detail how to use this information and add it to listings.
Finding the new GPSR information on the products page:
All the new information that needs adding for GPSR can be found in the new Documents, Regulatory Information and Responsible Person tab in the Edit Product screen.
Documents allows you to register and store all sorts of important documents with individual products for reference later. This includes documents like instruction manuals, safety information and certificates of compliance.
Regulatory Information correlates the product's energy efficiency and hazmat information needed for shipping products like paint, batteries and electricals. You can also add the energy efficiency documentation to the product on this page.
You can now set up your product suppliers as their manufacturers as well by setting the new flag in Suppliers to true. In this tab you can set which of a product's suppliers is its manufacturer if you have more than one available option, by default we will set the priority supplier as its manufacturer if that setting is enabled.
Responsible Person
Adding and managing Responsible People is a little more involved, so we have a separate guide for that you can find here:
