Adding Responsible People (GPSR)

Part of the GPSR changes includes adding/maintaining a list of people who are responsible for ensuring that products sold in the EU meet safety standards. The process to add Responsible People to your StoreFeeder products is detailed below:

1. Adding to StoreFeeder's list of Responsible People
   In Settings -> Misc -> Responsible People you will find the list of Responsible People currently registered in StoreFeeder. From this window, you can Add New or Delete people you have registered as responsible.
   
   When adding a new Responsible Person, you need to add a reference to help distinguish people with similar names. There is no mandated referencing system for GPSR, we recommend starting with 1.
   
   
2. Adding Responsible People to Products
   In Edit Product -> Responsible Person you can see all the people currently assigned to this product. by default it will be empty.  You can use the Add New button here to add a new responsible person like you can in the tab in Settings.
   
   Search will let you query the existing Responsible People you have registered in the system and make them responsible for this product as well.
   
   

Importing and Exporting Responsible People

When exporting product information you will now see the list of available attributes to export now includes all of the responsible people information:

Important Note

As responsible people can be linked to multiple products and not stored directly on the product, the following applies:

When you are importing information to add to products you can only supply a reference to an existing responsible person. You are unable to update existing or create new responsible people by import.  You can attach an exiting person to a product by importing the reference that the responsible person has allocated to them and mapping it to 'Responsible Person - Reference'.
