This feature is currently in early access so may not be enabled on your account. When live,100 scheduled runs per month are included as standard. For increased limits you will need to upgrade to Insights Pro
StoreFeeder Insights now lets you save the filter configurations you use regularly so you can re-run them in one click, and schedule any report to run automatically and land in your inbox on the cadence you choose.
Saved Filters
A saved filter captures your current report query -- the date ranges, text searches, column selections, and sort order -- under a name you choose. Once saved, you can apply it to any compatible report instantly without configuring the filters again.
Saved filters can be private (only visible to you) or public (visible to everyone in your account). Public saved filters are useful for standardising the views your whole team uses -- for example, a shared 'Last 7 days - UK orders only' filter.
Creating a saved filter
- Open a report from Insights and configure your filters -- date ranges, search terms, column selection, sort order.
- Once your results look right, click Save filter (shown near the filter controls at the top of the report).
- Enter a name for the filter. Names must be unique within the same report and visibility scope.
- Choose whether to make it Public (all account users can see it) or leave it Private (only you).
- Click Save. The filter appears in your saved filters list and is applied immediately.
.
| 💡 | New date options - One thing of note is that for date fields we have introduced new relative date ranges |
Preset – These are simple word based values relative to the date the report is run.
Custom – these work in the same way as preset ranges but give you more control. In the example below we have chosen the previous 3 weeks. You will get a preview when changing these values so you can be sure you have the correct values.
| 💡 | Tip: You can update an existing saved filter by opening it, adjusting the filters, and saving again under the same name. Only the owner of a filter (or an admin) can overwrite it. |
Applying a saved filter
Click any saved filter in the list to apply it. The report reloads with those filters active. You can still adjust the filters freely after applying -- your changes won't overwrite the saved version unless you explicitly save again.
Renaming or editing
Click the ... menu next to a saved filter and choose Edit. You can rename it or change its visibility. You can only edit filters you created, unless you are an account admin.
Deleting a saved filter
Click the ... menu and choose Delete. Deleting a saved filter does not affect any scheduled reports built on it -- schedules store their own copy of the filter configuration.
Scheduled Reports
A scheduled report runs a configured report automatically on a recurring basis -- daily, weekly, monthly, or on a custom pattern -- and delivers the results to one or more email addresses and/or as an in-app notification.
Each schedule stores its own filter configuration independently, so changing or deleting a saved filter will not affect running schedules.
| ⚠️ | Account feature: Scheduled Reports must be enabled on your account. If you don't see the option to create a schedule, contact your account manager or StoreFeeder support. |
Setting up a scheduled report
- From any report in Insights, configure the filters you want the schedule to use. You can also start from an existing saved filter.
- Click Add schedule button.
- Give the schedule a name -- this appears in email subjects and in-app notifications.
- Set the frequency: choose a preset (daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly) or enter a custom schedule. Times are in your account's local timezone.
- Configure delivery: enter at least one email address in the To field, and optionally add CC addresses. Enable or disable the in-app notification toggle.
- Click Save. The schedule is active immediately and will run at the next due time.
| 💡 | Preview before scheduling: Use Preview to see the first 20 rows at the current moment. This helps confirm your filters are correct before the schedule runs overnight. |
Frequency options
Schedules run in your account's configured timezone. The frequency is displayed in plain language so it's easy to verify your chosen cadence.
| Preset | Displayed as | Example |
| Daily | Daily at 9:00 AM | Runs once a day at your chosen time |
| Weekdays | Weekdays at 6:00 PM | Runs Mon-Fri only |
| Selected days | Every Mon, Wed, Fri at 12:00 PM | Choose which days of the week |
| Monthly | Monthly on the 1st at 8:00 AM | Runs once per month on a chosen date |
| 🕐 | Timezone note: All schedule times are set and displayed in your account's local timezone. If your account timezone changes, existing schedules adjust automatically. |
Email delivery
Results are sent from noreply@storefeeder.com to the addresses you configured. If the report returns 1,000 rows or fewer, the CSV is attached directly. For larger reports the email contains a download link valid for 12 hours.
| To | One or more email addresses (comma-separated) that receive the report. Required when email delivery is on. |
| CC | Optional additional recipients. These addresses are visible to all other recipients. |
| Attachment | Reports of 1,000 rows or fewer are attached as a CSV. Larger reports include a time-limited download link (valid 12 hours). |
| On failure | If the report fails to run, a failure notification is sent to the same addresses. |
In-app notification
When enabled, a notification appears in StoreFeeder for the user who created the schedule. Successful runs show a green success notification; failures show a red error notification with context on what went wrong.
| 💡 | Tip: In-app notifications are useful if you want an at-a-glance confirmation that a report ran without filling your inbox. Enable both channels to get the CSV by email and a prompt reminder in the app. |
Managing schedules
All schedules you have access to appear in the Schedules list within Insights. You can view schedules created by others, though editing and deleting are restricted to the creator and account admins.
Pausing and resuming
Toggle the Active switch on any schedule to pause it without losing the configuration. Paused schedules do not run and do not send notifications. Flip the switch again to resume.
Editing a schedule
Click a schedule to open it, then click Edit. You can change any part of the configuration: name, frequency, filters, and delivery settings. Changes take effect from the next scheduled run.
Running a report manually
Use the Export now button on any schedule to trigger an immediate one-off export. This generates a CSV download and records it in the run history but does not affect the regular schedule.
Viewing run history
Each schedule maintains a history of its executions -- whether it succeeded, how many rows were returned, and a link to the exported file where applicable. Download links are valid for 12 hours from the time of that run.
In this panel you are also able extend the expiry date if needed as we will remove the data after 90 days from execution.
Managing in bulk
There a also 2 pages provided to show all schedule and exports that have been set up so you don't need to go into the actual report to see this data
All schedules - You can see all schedules via Insights -> Scheduled reports
Clicking on these will take you to the relevant report schedule
All exports - You can see all export histories via Insights -> Export history
Here you can either click on the run number link to see the results of the run and download the report
or you can click on the name of the report to take you to that report

Common Questions
Will a scheduled report still run if I'm not logged in?
Yes. Scheduled reports run in the background on StoreFeeder's servers. Your own session state has no bearing on whether a schedule fires.
What happens if the report returns no results?
If the report runs successfully but returns zero rows, the run is recorded but no email is sent and no attachment is generated. Zero results is not treated as an error.
The download link in my email has expired. Can I get the file again?
Download links in scheduled report emails are valid for 12 hours. If yours has expired, go to the schedule's run history in StoreFeeder and use Export now to generate a fresh export.
Can I send a scheduled report to someone outside our StoreFeeder account?
Yes -- the To and CC fields accept any valid email address. Recipients do not need a StoreFeeder account to receive the email and CSV attachment.
Can I schedule the same report with different filters?
Yes -- you can create multiple schedules for the same report, each with different filter configurations. For example, one schedule filtered by UK channels and another by EU channels, each delivered to different email addresses.
If I delete a saved filter, will it break my schedules?
No. Each schedule stores its own independent copy of the filter configuration. Deleting the saved filter you built the schedule from will not affect the schedule's behaviour.
I don't see the option to create a schedule. What's wrong?
Scheduled Reports is an account-level feature that must be enabled by StoreFeeder. If the option is not visible, contact your account manager or raise a support ticket.
