Recently, customers have been getting the below email informing them to renew their software application from Amazon to StoreFeeder.
However, when doing so they are getting the error:
In order to get past the 404 error, you’ll need to authorise a new developer for StoreFeeder to get a new token. You can keep this as the same name.
You’ll need to do this in your settings within Amazon.
In Amazon, in your user permissions, scroll to 'Third Party Developer and apps' it will take you to a screen asking you for application information.
You then need to enter the information below in the corresponding fields:
- Application Name: StoreFeeder
- Application's Developer Account Number for amazon.co.uk: 5314-6059-1309
- Application's Developer Account Number for amazon.com: 8273-3633-3402
- Application's Developer Account Number for amazon.com.au: 2349-1655-3614
Please ensure you are using the correct information in the fields Amazon requires to finish authorising the new developer.
It will look like this:
And finally, once you’ve gone through these steps, you’ll then have access to the MWS authorisation token required to connect your Amazon account to StoreFeeder – it will include a list of your Marketplace ID’s and your Seller ID, as shown below:
Once all this has been completed, head back to StoreFeeder in your Amazon integration, paste your seller ID and MWS authorisation token into the fields labeled as such and save.
If you notice your orders not coming in beyond 90 minutes from reconnecting, please contact our support team.
