This knowledgebase article will show you how to create an invoice using the invoice templates and tokens.
If you want to make drastic changes to the invoice or create one from scratch, a good level of HTML knowledge is required. To create a new invoice, click on 'Settings' on the top right of the page. Next, click 'Warehouse Management' and then 'Invoice Templates'.
Now click the green 'New Invoice' button.
You will now see the 'Add New Invoice' box. Here you can name your template, select the 'Company Identity' it will be associated with and select the invoice template from the drop down menu.
The templates are designed to match the most common formats of integrated labels as well as a standard invoice generated by eBay. Once you have selected one, click the 'Save' button.
You will now see your new invoice template. This can either be edited using the design viewer or the HTML view. The header, body and footer have all been separated out to make it easier for you to create set areas in your invoices. The header and footer heights can also be adjusted to better fit your labels.
The tokens are displayed like this: {TokenExample}.
To add a new token or change an existing token, click or highlight the area, and double click on the token's name from the 'Invoice Token' list on the right of the page.
There are two types of tokens, Invoice and Loop tokens. The invoice tokens can be used anywhere on the page with the exception of the {LOOP}, whereas Loop Tokens can only be used inside of the loop. {LOOP} and {/LOOP} are used to denote information that applies to specific products ordered and might have to have additional lines added to the invoice. You can click the 'Preview' button at the bottom of the page without saving to see the full invoice.
