Stock Locations
To add a new stock location, first, navigate to the 'Stock Location Overview' page. ('Warehouse'>'Stock Location Overview')
You will see any previously existing stock locations.
To add a new stock location, click the 'New Location' button.
You will see the 'Create Stock Location' window. You will first need to select the warehouse that the stock location will be in from the 'Warehouse' drop-down menu and then select the 'Warehouse Zone' it will be in.
You will need to have created your Warehouses and Warehouse Zones in StoreFeeder before you can create stock locations assigned to them. For help in setting up see KNOWLEDGE
Next enter the 'Stock Location Reference'. This will be the name of the location that will appear on your products as well as on your picking sheet.
Finally, you will need to set the 'Location Order' of the stock location. The Location order is used to determine the order that pick bins will be used when creating a pickwave. The lowest location order will be chosen first.
Click 'Save' to create the new stock location.
To edit a stock location, hover over the stock location reference and click 'Edit'.
Please note that Unspecified Stock Locations cannot be edited.
You will see the 'Amend Stock Location' window. Here you can change the 'Warehouse Zone', 'Stock Location Reference' and 'Location Order'. You cannot change the warehouse on a stock location.
Click the 'Save' button to persist the changes.
It is possible to view all SKUs associated with a Stock Location. To do this hover over the SKUs in the 'Linked Product SKUs' column of a stock location. Here you can see the SKU, the 'Available' stock, the 'Allocated' stock and the total 'Physical Stock'.
To export your stock location information, tick the box next to the stock location/s that you want to export the information for, select 'Export Stock Take' from the bulk action menu and click the 'Confirm' button.
You will see the 'Export Stock Take Page' window. Here you can define the format and information in the export.
Locations To Export: Here you can choose to export only selected locations or all your locations.
Sort Order: The export will either be sorted by
Export Type: The file can be exported as either a PDF or as a CSV.
Include Out Of Stocks: Setting this option to 'On' will also include any stock locations that have no SKUs assigned to them as well as locations that have out-of-stock SKUs assigned to them.
Click the 'Create Export' button to export the file.
