There may be occasions where you will need to quickly update the shipping method on your orders, for example if you have missed one carrier's deadline, and need to select a different service.
To do so, navigate to ('Orders'>'Manage Orders'), and filter for the orders you would like to update.
Note that you can only alter the shipping method for orders which have not already been shipped or marked as despatched.Use the check boxes on the order lines to select the orders you would like to change, and from the drop down box, select 'Alter Shipping Method' as shown:
Click the 'Confirm' button. A window will appear with a drop down box allowing you to select a new Shipping method for the selected orders. Click the 'Update Shipping Method' to finish:
