Deleting Storefeeder listings in bulk is a simple process that requires a few steps to complete. Follow the steps outlined below to delete any number of listings from the same channel in Storefeeder at the same time.
Step by Step Guide
Turn off Upload listing for the channel:
Firstly, if you have upload listings turned on, you will need to turn it off by clicking settings in the top right, and then edit on the channel. In the Stock Management, you will have the option of turning Upload Listings off, then clicking save.
Export and delete the listings from the channel:
Secondly, you need a list of all the SKU's you want to delete, the best way to get this list is from the channel you're planning to delete them on, all channels have a way of exporting their listings in some format. Once you have the list SKU's you want to delete, delete these listings on the channel.
Update them and import the listings back into Storefeeder:
Now you have your spreadsheet of deleted SKUs you need to add a field for "Name" if you don't have one and make all of them something like "Deleted". Once you have done this, go to Storefeeder -> Listings -> Listings Import Export -> Import Listings and select the file you just worked on. You want to map SKU and Name and import that listing spreadsheet.
Filter on the new name and bulk "Redownload" them:
Now you have a bunch of listings in Storefeeder with the name "Deleted", you can go to the listings grid, filter on the name "Deleted" and trigger them all to Redownload form channel. This will delete the listing in Storefeeder and request a new version of it from the active channel, as you deleted them in the channel in step 1, they won't download and will stay removed from the system.
Final step :
If you disabled upload listings in the first step, ensure you switch it back on—but only if it was originally enabled. If this setting wasn’t active before and you turn it on now, StoreFeeder may push its data to the channel and overwrite existing information.
